Responsibilities
- Oversee front-line towing operations, including driver dispatch and fleet maintenance.
- Build and refine operational processes for a growing fleet.
- Proficient in and ensuring compliance with safety protocols according to DOT, PUC and State regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, personnel and fleet issues.
- Manage all incoming communications, providing professional, accurate information to clients and accounts.
- Process cash, credit, Square and check transactions.
- Serve as primary point of contact for customer accounts, managing both account updates and payment processing.
- Develop schedules, assign tasks, and manage job performance of tow personnel.
- Calculate wages biweekly.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in towing or transportation services with a strong track record of supervising teams.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with staff, clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices in towing operations.
- Business development skills with a proactive approach to expanding service reach and customer base.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with Towbook Software and Outlook is preferred.
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team development and conflict resolution.
