Job Responsibilities

• Track, analyze, and report on project costs, budgets, and forecasts
• Monitor project financial performance and identify variances
• Prepare and issue client invoices based on contract terms (time & materials, fixed fee, etc.)
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards
• Review and approve project-related expenses and time entries
• Reconcile project accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with project setup, including budget creation and system configuration
• Support month-end and year-end close processes related to project accounting
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial alignment and profitability
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and contractual requirements
• Prepare financial reports and dashboards for leadership review

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in project or cost accounting
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition and job costing
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Viewpoint Vista, SAP, Oracle)
