
Entry Level Part-time Accountant
*Job Summary*
The Part-time Entry level Accountant will be responsible for preparing a variety of journal entries, reconciling balance sheets and operating statement accounts, preparing monthly not-for-profit financial statements, participating in client month-end reviews, completing variance analysis for multiple entities, working closely with Accounting Manager to answer questions and provide supporting documentation, and supporting the overall accounting of the client accounts.
*Principal Responsibilities:*
- Prepare and record various journal entries to the general ledger for membership based not-for-profit entities
- Prepare month-end membership revenue reconciliations
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and analysis for accounts
- Review the results of client events and make necessary accounting entries
- Investigate and report on variances in budget
- Plan, coordinate and/or lead assigned month-end reviews
- Complete monthly, quarterly and year-end close responsibilities
- Use technology including Word, Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks Online as well as Association Management Software
*Education & Qualifications (Required and Preferred):*
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting with 1-2 years of experience in similar position.
- Skills and experience working with Microsoft Excel, including V-lookups, pivot tables, accounting software, e.g., Quick Books

This is a part-time position with the potential of turning into a full-time role in the future.
Compensation details:
$25.00 to $30.00 Hourly Wage
Work Location: In person with the potential of working 1-2 days per week from home after 90 days
