EDI and Automation Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled EDI and Automation Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of healthcare EDI transactions through advanced test automation techniques. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in EDI standards, automation frameworks, and programming, along with a passion for building scalable and efficient testing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute automated test solutions for EDI transactions.

Validate healthcare EDI transactions including 270/271, 834, 835, and 837.

Develop and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts.

Perform system testing, test case development, and execution.

Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and quality standards.

Drive continuous improvement through automation and innovative testing approaches.

Support UAT activities and provide detailed test execution reports.

Required Skills:

Strong experience in System Testing & Evaluation

Expertise in Test Case Development & Execution

Experience in Test Automation frameworks

Hands-on experience with UFT (Unified Functional Testing)

Knowledge of Healthcare EDI transactions (270/271, 834, 835, 837)

Proficiency in automation scripting and validation

Preferred Skills:

Experience automating EDI file validation using Python, C#, or other OOP languages

Exposure to AI-driven testing tools

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
