Logistics Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support our camp-based mining operations. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing logistics activities to ensure the efficient transportation, storage, and delivery of goods. You’ll play a key role in maintaining smooth supply chain operations while building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Planning & Coordination

• Develop and manage logistics plans to ensure timely shipping and receiving of materials
• Coordinate and track shipments in alignment with site and customer requirements

Shipping & Receiving Oversight

• Oversee daily shipping, receiving, and distribution activities
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to identify and resolve discrepancies during pre-receiving inspections

Storage & Equipment Management

• Coordinate storage solutions and manage site equipment requirements
• Continuously improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Stakeholder Engagement

• Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal project teams
• Build and maintain strong working relationships to support seamless operations

Monitoring & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of inbound shipments, completed orders, and logistics activities
• Prepare reports on logistics performance, highlighting trends and improvement opportunities

Compliance & Problem Solving

• Ensure adherence to company procedures, regulatory requirements, and ISO standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve logistics issues in a timely and efficient manner

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in logistics systems and Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently in a remote camp environment

What We Offer

• Competitive compensation package: $80,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience
