## Sales Representative / Business Development Rep (Commercial Painting)

We are a proud member of the PCA and specialize in commercial interior and exterior painting. Our team takes pride in delivering an outstanding experience and high-quality results for our customers. Blair Commercial Painting is expanding its presence in the Southeastern Wisconsin market, and we are looking for a Sales Representative / Business Development Rep to help drive that growth. This role is built for someone who knows how to generate business, build relationships, and create new opportunities. You will serve as the local face of Blair Commercial Painting in the Southeastern Wisconsin area, developing relationships with general contractors, facility owners, property managers, and other decision-makers to bring in new commercial painting work.

This is not a passive, order-taking role. We are looking for someone who can get out into the market, open doors, build trust, and help grow BCP's customer base in a meaningful way

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities in the Southeastern Wisconsin area commercial market
  • Prospect and build relationships with general contractors, property managers, facility managers, owners, and other key decision-makers
  • Identify, pursue, and help secure commercial painting opportunities
  • Follow up on leads from existing relationships, referrals, and company-supported channels
  • Create and maintain a strong pipeline of new opportunities
  • Conduct site visits and walk commercial properties and job sites as needed to understand project scope
  • Work with internal estimating and operations support to help develop proposals and pricing
  • Present proposals, explain value clearly, and support negotiations to win work
  • Stay visible and active in the market through networking, relationship-building, and consistent follow-up
  • Maintain organized records of leads, opportunities, and client communication using company systems and software
  • Collaborate closely with BCP team members to support smooth handoff once projects are sold

Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience is required
  • New business development experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience selling in construction, commercial services, building trades, or a related industry is strongly preferred
  • Strong ability to build relationships, earn trust, and generate opportunities with new customers
  • Confident communicator who is comfortable in face-to-face meetings, follow-up conversations, and proposal discussions
  • Self-starter who can manage their own time, stay organized, and work independently
  • Comfortable walking commercial and industrial properties and discussing project needs with decision-makers
  • Tech-comfortable and able to use CRM/database systems, Google Workspace, CompanyCam, and related tools
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly throughout the Southeastern Wisconsin market

Pay & Benefits

  • Full-time, W-2 position
  • Pay: $80,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience, with room to grow as the Southeastern Wisconsin market grows
