The Role
We are looking for a relentless, strategic
Director of Outside Sales
to spearhead our national expansion into dental practices. In this role, you will be the driving force on the ground, leading and growing our field sales team while partnering seamlessly with our Inside Sales Director to build a high-converting, omnichannel B2B sales engine.
Your primary mission? Take our retail footprint from the hundreds into 40,000+ dental offices nationwide.
OTE for this role with commission is $350k + Full Health Benefits
Key Responsibilities
- Scale the Footprint:
Lead the aggressive B2B expansion of BocaBella into independent dental practices and Dental Support Organizations (DSOs), scaling our presence to 10,000+ locations.
- Lead the Field:
Recruit, train, manage, and inspire a high-performing national field sales team, setting KPIs and driving accountability.
- Unify the Funnel:
Collaborate daily with the Inside Sales Director to align field and inside strategies, ensuring seamless lead handoffs, optimized territory routing, and maximum conversion rates.
- Build Partnerships:
Cultivate deep, long-lasting relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), practice owners, and DSO executives.
- Drive Strategy:
Continuously refine our pitch and field collateral (like our waiting room display racks) to maximize both sell-in to the dentist and sell-through to the patient.
What We’re Looking For
- The Scaler:
You have a proven, verifiable track record of scaling a cosmetic dental, oral care, or medical device brand from a few hundred doors to 10,000+ clinical/retail locations.
- The Industry Insider:
You possess a deep understanding of the dental industry, how practices make purchasing decisions, and an existing network of DSO contacts.
- The Leader:
You have extensive experience building and managing remote, commission-driven field sales teams.
- The Collaborator:
You know how to bridge the gap between inside and outside sales, creating a unified front rather than siloed teams.
