Office Manager, Student Wellness

Student Wellness provides programs, education, resources, and facilities that promote lifelong behaviors for a healthier, happier, and more successful life . The Student Wellness Office Manager provides primarily administrative support and assistance to the Director of Student Wellness and the department. This includes assisting with general office duties, records management, department communications, and administrative support. This position also acts as a financial approver and processes department purchases and billing. This position reports to the Director of Student Wellness.

Note: This is a part-time position (28) hours per week.

What you’ll do in this position:

Office Management

  • Provide budgeting and financial support for travel, program, and department purchases.
  • Attend department/committee meetings, takes minutes and keeps notes
  • Support administrative staff in time management roles
  • Act as an approver for department financial activities
  • Handle all department inquiries and manage the front office reception desk.
  • Function as records liaison and key access manager for department
  • Manage department office supplies and ordering processes.
  • Generate and administer department billing and invoicing.
  • Assist in organizing department meetings, communication, retreats, events, and training.

Administration

  • Assist with troubleshooting software and training.
  • Provide assessment and evaluation assistance.
  • Department outreach and event support.
  • Direct and staff booths at fairs, events, and presentations.

What qualifies you for this role:

Required

  • A firm commitment to the mission of BYU.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or two years’ work experience in office setting.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus three years’ work experience in office setting in higher education. Prior BYU experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience using Workday.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office

Pay Grade: 48

Typical Starting Pay: $20.50 - $26.50

The actual compensation offered will take into consideration internal equity and may vary based on the candidate’s job-related experience, knowledge, skills, and other relevant factors. Candidates with very significant work-related experience may receive an offer higher than the posted typical range.
