Job Overview:
The Business Analyst / Project Manager will support the Project Management Office (PMO) in driving project initiation, planning, execution, and monitoring. This role combines business analysis and project management responsibilities, focusing on gathering requirements, improving operational efficiency, managing project timelines, and ensuring successful delivery of projects within scope and budget. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Job Description:
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting all phases of the project lifecycle, including project initiation, estimation, execution, and performance reporting. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to define business requirements, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing process improvements. The candidate will also manage project documentation, governance, and communication across teams while ensuring adherence to project management methodologies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Business Analysis:
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to enhance operational performance
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and assumptions
- Collaborate with stakeholders and department liaisons to define and clarify project requirements
- Assist in reviewing project requests and finalizing requirements with stakeholders
- Develop project solution proposals and related documentation
- Conduct data analysis using tools such as Excel
- Present project proposals and findings to stakeholders
Project Management:
- Support PMO Manager in project planning and execution
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, scope, and budgets
- Maintain project schedules, risk logs, issue logs, and documentation
- Monitor project performance and identify variances
- Prepare and present status reports and stakeholder updates
- Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and document outcomes
- Ensure project governance including milestone tracking, financial oversight, and documentation
- Coordinate tasks and deadlines with internal teams and stakeholders
- Apply project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle
- Perform risk management and mitigation planning
Required Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) – preferred

- Proficiency in data analysis using Microsoft Excel
- Experience in developing business requirements and documentation

- Ability to quickly learn business processes and adapt to changing requirements.
