About the Role
We are seeking an Associate with 2 to 5 years of experience to focus on a mix of personal injury litigation, estate and trust litigation, guardianship, and conservatorship matters.
This is a hands-on role with direct involvement in cases, client interaction, and courtroom exposure. You will work closely with experienced attorneys who are invested in your development while also having the opportunity to take ownership of your work and grow your skills across multiple litigation areas.
This position is in-office in White Plains and requires a strong commitment to collaboration and client service.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and support an active caseload focused on personal injury litigation, estate and trust litigation, guardianship, and conservatorship
- Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
- Participate in court appearances, conferences, depositions, and hearings
- Work directly with clients and provide clear, professional communication
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to move cases forward efficiently
- Develop case strategies and contribute to litigation planning
- Maintain organization, deadlines, and procedural compliance across matters
### Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 2 to 5 years of litigation experience, ideally with exposure to personal injury litigation, estate or trust matters, or a combination of both, with interest in expanding across practice areas
- New York Bar admission in good standing
- Connecticut admission is a plus or willingness to obtain
- Strong writing, analytical, and research skills
- Ability to manage responsibilities independently while working within a team
- Professional, client-focused communication skills
- A motivated attorney who is interested in long -term growth with the firm
### Benefits
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $130,000 to $150,000, commensurate with experience
- Candidates with 3+ years of experience or strong relevant background may be considered above this range
- Bonus opportunity tied to performance of 1400+ billable hours
