Software Engineering/Development: Systems Test Summer Internship
An internship in automated testing is open to motivated BS/MS students majoring in Computer Science/Electrical or Computer Engineering who have experience in the areas listed below. Come join us for a hands-on opportunity to work with leading-edge imaging hardware and software!
This internship is designed for students interested in combining software development with testing and quality engineering.
System Test Internship Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining tests for desktop, web and mobile applications
- Execute manual and automated tests
- Identify, report, track and verify software defects
- Collaborate with QA engineers and developers on test plan and test script creations
- Contribute to issue isolation and issue reproduction across releases and environments
- Solve interesting and challenging problems while applying best practices in test automation and software quality
Requirements:
- Strong programming experience in one or more of the following (C#, Python, Java, C/C++)
- Interest in automation testing and software quality
- Knowledge of RDBMS / SQL
- Possess a good understanding of computer systems (software and hardware)
- Ability to work independently under the guidance of a senior team member
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Good communications skills (presentation and documentation of results)
Desired:
- Exposure to Selenium, Ranorex, Squish, Appium or similar tools
- Familiarity with HTTP, REST APIs, and JSON
- Experience with Postman, GitHub, Jenkins

The anticipated salary range for the position is $17.00-$23.00 per hour. This is dependent upon consideration of multiple factors when determining a base salary such as a candidate’s experience, education, and current market conditions.
