Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented part-time Partnership & Business Development Manager (10-20 hrs/wk) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for working with the Head of Marketing to support the work to identify, negotiate, and secure deals and partnerships with organizations, brands, and communities that align with Chaiflicks' mission. You will play a key role in driving growth, increasing brand visibility, and expanding our subscriber base. Position is remote and/or hybrid (Santa Monica).
Key Responsibilities
:
In partnership with the Head of Marketing, follow up on existing leads as well as work to identify and pursue strategic partnerships with organizations, cultural institutions, Jewish community groups, and other entities that align with Chaiflicks' mission and values. This includes the following:
- Support the development and execution of a business development strategy to grow community partnership opportunities.
- Work with an existing list of organizations (and identify new ones) including, but not limited to Jewish Philanthropic organizations, Jewish Film Festivals, major Jewish conferences, and related for-profit companies to identify opportunities for potential co-branded partnerships to build awareness and subscribers for ChaiFlicks.
- Identify, build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential partners, affiliates, and internal teams.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create co-branded campaigns and promotions that leverage partnerships.
- Negotiate and close deals that enhance brand awareness, increase subscriber acquisition and drive revenue.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Track and report on the performance of partnerships, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Qualifications:
- Experience in business development, partnerships, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing deals.
- Strong understanding of the streaming industry, digital media, and affiliate marketing.
- Excellent communication, follow-up, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for Jewish culture, film, and storytelling is a plus.
- Experience working with Jewish organizations or communities is a strong advantage.
