
Program Manager- Injection Molding
### Position Summary

The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing injection molding programs from launch through production, ensuring customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, and profitability. This role serves as the primary point of contact between internal teams and customers, coordinating all aspects of project execution.
### Key Responsibilities
- Manage new and existing injection molding programs from kickoff through production and lifecycle support
- Act as the main liaison between customers, engineering, production, and quality teams
- Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met
- Coordinate mold builds, sampling, and production launches
- Monitor program performance including cost, quality, and delivery metrics
- Lead customer meetings, provide updates, and address concerns proactively
- Support quoting and cost analysis for new and existing programs
- Identify risks and implement corrective actions to ensure successful program execution
- Ensure all documentation, specifications, and customer requirements are met
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–7+ years of experience in injection molding, plastics manufacturing, or related industry
- Previous program management or project management experience preferred
- Strong understanding of injection molding processes, tooling, and production workflows
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, etc.)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with APQP, PPAP, and product launch processes
- Familiarity with tooling development and mold qualification
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience is a plus
