About the Role
We are searching for a growth-oriented, relationship-driven Account Manager to own and expand revenue within DDD's strategic client accounts. You will be responsible for deepening executive relationships, identifying expansion opportunities across buying centers, and driving account growth through proactive engagement and consultative selling. This is an individual contributor role with significant visibility and growth potential within a fast-paced, mission-driven organization.
Working closely with the Head of GTM, Solutions Engineering, and Delivery teams, you will own a portfolio of named strategic accounts as well as a broader book of business. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to grow revenue within existing accounts and meet expansion targets.
Responsibilities
- Own growth and commercial outcomes across assigned client accounts, including strategic named accounts and a broader portfolio
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key client stakeholders and map contacts across business user, decision maker, and executive levels
- Identify and target expansion opportunities including new buying centers, cross-sell, upsell, and white space within existing accounts
- Develop and maintain detailed account plans with share of wallet assessment and growth roadmaps
- Partner with Delivery and Solutions Engineering teams to drive growth-focused QBRs and client engagements
- Oversee renewal processes including pricing strategy and contract scope alignment
- Maintain accurate account data, pipeline forecasts, and opportunity tracking in Salesforce CRM
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape within assigned accounts to position DDD for long-term relevance
- Represent DDD in complex client environments and act as the escalation point when needed
- Collaborate with Marketing on account-based initiatives and client case study development
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of B2B account management or sales experience in technology services or SaaS, preferably with exposure to AI/ML, data services, or enterprise software
- Demonstrated track record of growing revenue within enterprise accounts, with experience managing accounts in the $1M+ range
- Strong executive presence with the ability to build trusted advisor relationships at multiple levels within client organizations
- Experience with account planning, relationship mapping, and share of wallet analysis
- Proven ability to identify and close expansion opportunities within existing accounts
- Strong sales productivity skills including CRM management, pipeline development, and forecasting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% of time for client meetings and QBRs
- Bachelor's degree required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing accounts in data services, annotation, labeling, or ML training data solutions
- Familiarity with autonomous vehicles, robotics, computer vision, or GenAI/LLM markets
- Experience with large, complex accounts with multiple buying centers (e.g., hyperscalers, Fortune 500 technology companies, enterprise OEMs)
- Knowledge of account management methodologies and frameworks
- MBA or advanced degree
