The Role
We are seeking a Senior Product Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics & Insights team. In this role, you will be a strategic partner to Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams, transforming raw user behavior into actionable business roadmaps.
You will be responsible for building sophisticated visualization tools, modeling user retention, and identifying growth opportunities across our digital service ecosystem. We are looking for a candidate who can bridge the gap between complex data engineering and executive-level decision-making.
Top 3 Skill Sets We’re Looking For

  • Advanced BI & Visualization: Expert-level Tableau skills. You build intuitive, automated dashboards that track KPIs, funnels, and growth trends.
  • The Modern Data Stack: Mastery of SQL for complex querying and Python (or R) for deep-dive statistical analysis and data cleaning.
  • Strategic Communication: The ability to translate technical findings into "business-speak" for presentations to stakeholders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze & Visualize: Build and maintain high-visibility Tableau dashboards tracking product performance, retention curves, and funnel health.
  • Data Governance: Work with Engineering to define and document logging event specifications for new features—ensuring data accuracy from the point of collection.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous data QA and validation across pipelines to ensure insights are built on a foundation of absolute completeness.
  • User Behavior Modeling: Conduct deep-dive cohort analysis and funnel optimization to identify drivers of user engagement and churn.
  • Launch Support: Identify data requirements for new feature launches or marketing campaigns and present strategic recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably within the mobile, web-connected app, or digital services industry.
  • Technical Toolkit:
  • Profound SQL skills (querying, joining, and manipulating large datasets).
  • Advanced Tableau knowledge is a must.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for data analytics and visualization.
  • Domain Expertise: Demonstrated experience with cohort analysis and retention modeling in a fast-paced environment.
  • Soft Skills: A detail-oriented team player with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt to changing business needs.
