About the Opportunity

Equity Medical is seeking a motivated and highly organized Inside Sales Associate to join the Business Development team in an entry-level capacity. Reporting directly to the Director of Business Development, this role plays a critical part in fueling company growth by identifying and engaging potential sponsor companies to bring new clinical trials into the site network.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to start their career in clinical research business development. This role focuses on the foundational tasks—such as CRM management and meeting coordination—that allow the leadership team to build and maintain lasting relationships with pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organizations (CROs).

Key Responsibilities

• Targeted Outreach: Execute high-volume, well-curated, personalized outbound prospecting campaigns via email, phone, and LinkedIn to generate interest in the site network.

• CRM Management: Act as the primary owner of the Salesforce CRM data; this role meticulously tracks all daily activities and updates lead statuses to ensure the pipeline reflects real-time engagement.

• Meeting Coordination: Seamlessly schedule virtual introductory meetings and capabilities presentations for the Director of Business Development.

• Conference Logistics: Manage appointment setting for major industry conferences, ensuring the leadership team has a robust and high-value schedule.

• Market Intelligence: Monitor industry developments to prioritize outreach to relevant sponsor prospects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or a closely related field.

• Strong ability to learn and master new software systems, including CRM platforms and virtual meeting tools.

• Hunter mentality with the resilience to handle high-volume outreach and the persistence to follow up consistently at an appropriate cadence that maintains Equity Medical’s reputation

• Superior organizational skills with a proven ability to manage complex calendars.

• Exceptional written and verbal skills, with the ability to craft professional, persuasive outreach messaging.

• Passion for advancing innovative medicines to patients in need and a deep interest in science, medicine, and clinical research.
