We are looking for a
Lead Automation Engineer / QA Lead
to drive our test automation strategy and ensure high‑quality software delivery. This role requires strong hands‑on experience with
modern automation frameworks (Playwright preferred)
and the ability to
lead, mentor, and guide QA teams
.

✅ Key Responsibilities

- Lead end‑to‑end
test automation strategy and execution
- Design, develop, and maintain
automation frameworks
using Playwright
- Review automation code and enforce
best practices & quality standards
- Collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams across Agile ceremonies
- Ensure automation coverage for
UI, API, and regression testing
- Integrate automated tests into
CI/CD pipelines
- Perform root cause analysis and drive defect prevention
- Mentor junior and mid‑level QA engineers
- Provide test metrics, reports, and quality insights to stakeholders

🛠 Required Skills & Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in
QA / Test Automation
- Strong hands‑on experience with
Playwright
- Expertise in
JavaScript / TypeScript OR Python
(Python is a plus, not mandatory)
- Solid experience in
UI automation
and
API testing
- Good understanding of
Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Experience with
CI/CD tools
(Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Nice to Have

- Experience in
cloud environments
(Azure / AWS)
- Knowledge of
performance or security testing
- Prior experience leading
QA teams or projects
- Exposure to
BDD frameworks
(Cucumber, etc.)
