Exolum is expanding into the Americas and seeking an
Assets and Infrastructure Engineering Manager
to lead the technical dimension of their growth. This is a pivotal role for a driven engineer with midstream expertise who can bridge business development and technical execution. The Assets and Infrastructure Engineering Manager will support Exolum’s investment and growth agenda in the U.S. and wider Americas by providing engineering insight into asset assessments, conceptual design, cost estimation, permitting, and execution governance. The ideal candidate must be comfortable moving between the office and the field — from technical due diligence of potential acquisitions to de risking execution of new build projects across terminals, pipelines, and storage, including assets handling emerging “green and blue” molecules. The incumbent will initially report to the Americas Lead, with a dotted-line connection to Exolum’s Global Center of Excellence (COE) to ensure alignment with international standard

Main Functions and Responsibilities

• Supporting the Business Development activities by:

o Identifying attractive assets and locations.

o Assessing assets attractiveness from a technical perspective and its integrity. - Providing in-house cost estimates (Devex, Capex and Opex).

o Providing in-house conceptual engineering designs aligned with customer’s needs.

o Supervising basic engineering and FEED and their related cost estimates.

o Designing engineering and execution/construction schedules/calendars & staffing.

o Permitting road maps.

• Supporting M&A transactions leading the technical due diligence.

• Delivering (OTOBOS) construction projects

• Including EPC, commissioning, start-up, scheduling, budget monitoring, risk assessment…

• Overseeing & ensuring performance of engineering and construction contractors.

• Adhering to and complying with Exolum’s Global policy of projects execution frameworks.

• Adhering to and complying with HSSE standards of the company.

• Identifying and selecting engineering and construction firms in line with Procurement policies.

• Preparing/scoping technical RFQ and evaluating technical proposals from contractors.

• Supporting new technologies evaluation in cooperation with Global Center of Excellence (COE)

Professional Experience

• 15+ years of experience in engineering, project development, and technical leadership.

• 10+ years in execution and delivery of large-scale projects, from concept through commissioning.

• Hands-on exposure to terminals, storage, pipelines, and related assets.

• Familiarity with hydrogen and low-carbon alternative fuels (e.g., blue/green hydrogen, ammonia…)

• Knowledge of logistics assets and infrastructure networks, particularly in the Gulf Coast region

• Familiar with technical standards, permitting frameworks, and market dynamics.

• Experience working with EPCs, engineering consultants, and owner’s teams.

• Ability to lead technical due diligence for M&A transactions, asset assessments and integrations. • Cross-cultural project execution experience, with a preference for international exposure.

Education

Engineering degree required (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, or related). Master´s degree preferred.
