THE OPPORTUNITY
EZ STAK is launching the next phase of growth within our Infrastructure segment, and we’re looking for a
Business Development Director – Infrastructure
to lead that charge.
This is a
true hunter role
, designed for a commercially driven leader who thrives on creating net-new opportunities, opening doors, and building a foundational book of business from the ground up. Structured as a
commercial launch position
, this role plays a critical part in expanding EZ STAK’s presence across infrastructure markets through proactive prospecting, new logo acquisition, and strategic account penetration.
Working within our
Sales POD model (BDD + ISR)
, you’ll own pipeline creation end to end—leveraging direct outreach, industry relationships, and referrals to consistently generate 3x pipeline coverage. As early momentum is established, your focus will evolve toward shaping scalable, repeatable revenue growth while maintaining strong margin discipline.
This role offers the opportunity to:
- Build and own a high-impact, net-new pipeline in an evolving infrastructure portfolio
- Lead complex, value-based deal strategy with customers and partners
- Influence go-to-market execution through close collaboration with Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Inside Sales
- Act as a market-facing leader—actively participating in industry associations, meetings, and events

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
*Pipeline Generation & Revenue Growth*
Own creation of net-new pipeline through:
- New logo acquisition and a defined strategy to support growth
- Generate and maintain 3–5x pipeline coverage against quota
- Direct cold calling prospecting efforts
- Using industry relationships to gain referrals
- Lead complex deal strategy and positioning
*Customer Relationship Management*
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and dealer partners
- Active involvement in trade associations and attending regular in-person meetings/trainings
*Revenue Quality & Margin Management*
Own both revenue growth and gross margin performance:
- Provide customers custom, high-margin solutions
- Ensure adherence to pricing strategy and company margin thresholds
*Market Intelligence*
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to inform sales strategies
*Cross-Functional Commercial Integration*
Partner closely with:
- Sales Engineering for technical validation and solution design
- Marketing for specific campaign alignment and lead follow-up
- ISR for execution and pipeline support
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
*Education & Experience*
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of progressive B2B sales or business development experience, with a strong emphasis on
new logo acquisition
and
net‑new pipeline creation
- Demonstrated success in a
hunter‑led, quota‑carrying role
, ideally within infrastructure, construction, material handling, industrial solutions, or adjacent market
- Experience in using technology as a sales tool (ZoomInfo, Pipedrive etc)
- Experience leading or owning
complex, high‑value sales cycles
, including deal strategy, positioning, and negotiation
*Skills & Knowledge*
- Knowledge of the infrastructure industry and adjacent markets
- Excellent communication skills combined with ability to articulate forecasted sales and business metrics appropriately
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Strong sales acumen with a hunter profile and strong negotiation skills
- Exposure to early‑stage or growth‑phase commercial environments where structure is being built, not inherited
- Track record of balancing
revenue growth and margin discipline
, with experience selling custom or engineered solutions
- Proven ability to build pipeline from the ground up through cold outreach, referrals, and industry relationships, consistently maintaining
