About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, strategic, and detail-oriented
Account Executive
to join our Seattle-based public relations agency. This role is ideal for a communications professional who is equally comfortable thinking strategically and executing with precision — someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, takes initiative, and enjoys delivering high-quality work across multiple clients and industries.

As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in developing and executing integrated communications programs, building relationships with media and stakeholders, and contributing to the success of client accounts. You'll be supported by a collaborative team while taking ownership of your work, proactively identifying opportunities, and consistently delivering results.

This position is local to Seattle and requires a minimum of
two days per week in the office
.

Key Responsibilities

Client Service & Account Management

  • Support day-to-day client communications, including gathering information, tracking deadlines, and participating in meetings
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to advance client programs and achieve business objectives
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and approval processes to ensure work is completed on time and within scope
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and external partners

Content Development & Storytelling

  • Draft high-quality communications materials including key messages, press releases, op-eds, media pitches, and social content
  • Translate complex topics into clear, compelling narratives tailored to target audiences
  • Ensure all materials meet agency standards for quality, accuracy, and AP style

Media Relations & Outreach

  • Build and maintain relationships with traditional and digital media
  • Research and secure media coverage, as well as editorial, award, and speaking opportunities
  • Support media outreach strategies and track results

Integrated Campaign Execution

  • Assist in developing and executing integrated communications programs across paid, earned, owned, and shared channels
  • Support digital and social media initiatives, including content development and audience engagement
  • Coordinate with subject-matter experts, partners, and vendors to support campaign execution

Events & Special Projects

  • Support planning and execution of events, announcements, and community or stakeholder engagement activities
  • Contribute to special projects and new business efforts as needed

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field
- Minimum of
3+ years
of public relations agency or equivalent in-house experience
- Proven experience securing media coverage in traditional and digital outlets
- Familiarity with digital and social media tools and platforms
- Experience supporting integrated communications campaigns
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work under deadlines

Our compensation package includes:

  • Base salary: $60,000 - $75,000
