## Responsibilities
The Research Content Editor is part of a collaborative communications team and is responsible for preparing, developing, reviewing, implementing and managing web-based and other content in support of the overall communications and marketing strategy around the university’s research enterprise. This can include social media, newsletters and web-based special projects.
- Responsible for writing, editing, and distributing content, including news releases, newsletters, internal messaging, and calendar items, etc. promoting the work of the Division of Research and initiatives spearheaded by the division.
- Reviews copy and digital assets to include brand compliance and correct grammar, tone, style, accuracy and relevance.
- Creates, posts and edits content for social media platforms promoting the university’s research, innovation and creative operations.
- Provide assistance in creating website copy and updates on an as-needed basis for the Division of Research.
- Provide assistance in the creation of marketing collateral for Research units, such as flyers, emails, and other advertising.
## Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience or a combination of post high school education or experience equal to six years.
