Job Description
As an Engineering Administrative Assistant here at Honeywell, you will provide essential administrative support to the engineering team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. You will assist with scheduling, documentation, communication, and coordination of engineering projects and activities.
You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Director, and you’ll work out of our Cambridge, Ontario location with an on-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the productivity and organization of the engineering department, helping to streamline processes and support project execution effectively.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for engineering staff.
  • Prepare and maintain engineering documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Assist in tracking project timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Teamcenter administration (create new documents and ECNs; load documents; support engineering staff).
  • Procure non-flight parts and prepare purchase requisitions.
  • Assist with onboarding of new employees.

Qualifications
The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP and CSP security clearance.
YOU MUST HAVE

  • Diploma or degree from an accredited institution in business administration or a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in administrative support, preferably in an engineering or technical environment

WE VALUE

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Siemens Teamcenter and SAP software solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems
  • Familiarity with project management tools and basic understanding of engineering terminology
  • Experience supporting engineering teams in aerospace or manufacturing industries
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive problem-solving attitude and adaptability

The annual base salary range for this position is $45,200 to $60,200 in Cambridge, Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
