Job Description
As a Software Engineer I here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be an integral part of our software development team, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of innovative software solutions that meet customer needs and drive business success.
You will report directly to our Sr. Software Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix AZ location
In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge software applications, enhance the functionality and performance of our products while ensuring high quality and reliability.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment in compliance with DO-178B guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Contribute to the development of software documentation and user manuals.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field.
- Must have graduated or graduating from an accredited college or university between August 2025 and May 2026
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in software development (including internships and project work).
- Real time embedded software experience
- Avionics or aerospace project/internships
WE VALUE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as Embedded C, C++, C#
- Experience with software development tools and version control systems.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies
- Experience in developing applications for embedded systems for Aero products
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Passion for technology and continuous learning.
