As a Full Stack Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications and solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will work on both the front-end and back-end of applications, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Your expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies will contribute to the success of our software development projects.
You will report directly to our Software Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Toronto, Ontario location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the development and delivery of innovative software solutions that drive customer satisfaction and business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain software applications and solutions using front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation of software projects.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement in software development processes.

YOU MUST HAVE

- Bachelor’s degree or 2–3-year Web Application Development Diploma from an accredited institution in a technical discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in full stack software development.
- Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated proficiency with front-end technologies including React, Typescript, HTML, CSS
Minimum of 2 years of experience with back-end technologies including Node.js and MongoDB

WE VALUE

- Experience with cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience monitoring production cloud environments, assets, configurations, and resources.
- Experience identifying bottle necks and performance improvement opportunities, and prototyping and deploying performance fixes – both database and server.
- Experience improving developer lifecycles such as CI/CD improvements via Github actions, container (K8s) management, package management.
- Knowledge of other database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience using GitHub, Jira, and other collaborative tools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The annual base salary range for this position is $81,800 - $108,900 in Toronto, Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
