
Pursuit Specialist III

In this role, you’ll lead high-impact pursuits, partner with technical and business leaders, and help define how we show up in competitive opportunities. You’ll have the opportunity to elevate both the quality of our submissions and the strategy behind them.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end proposal and qualifications efforts, from strategy through submission
- Partner with Business Line Presidents, Project Managers, and client teams to position winning pursuits
- Drive pursuit strategy including Go/No-Go decisions, messaging, and review processes (pink/red team)
- Develop and author compelling proposal content, presentations, and interview materials
- Manage multiple concurrent pursuits while ensuring quality, consistency, and deadlines are met
- Collaborate with corporate marketing to align campaigns and strengthen brand consistency
- Maintain and optimize marketing systems, including CRM and proposal databases
- Support market research, client targeting, and competitive insights to inform strategy
- Coordinate pursuit teams, including subconsultants, to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of experience in proposal development, ideally within engineering, architecture, or professional services
- Experience developing proposals and supporting pursuits for planning services in the Federal Market
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical content into compelling narratives
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience leading pursuit strategy and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- Experience with Deltek Vision or similar CRM systems is a plus
