Healthcare Sales Engineer – Enterprise (>10k employees)
Region: United States (Remote with occasional travel)
Why This Role Exists
- IGEL is expanding in large healthcare environments where endpoint strategy directly impacts clinical workflows, security posture, and operational continuity.
- The purpose of this role is to lead technical validation and alignment for complex enterprise healthcare opportunities at large hospitals and health systems.
- You will validate architectural fit, educate our customer stakeholders, guide customers through workflow-aligned proof of concept deployments, and help shape solution direction.
What Success Looks Like
- By Month 4, you will lead deep technical discovery across enterprise opportunities. You will help define success criteria for PoC's, execute them, and establish credibility with IT, security, and clinical stakeholders as needed.
- By Month12, you will consistently drive technical wins and act as a trusted advisor to your assigned accounts.
What You’ll Own
- Technical strategy across the presales lifecycle from discovery through architecture, PoC, and technical validation.
- Alignment of IGEL solutions to clinical workflows, security requirements, and enterprise constraints.
- Design and execution of PoC' s grounded in real-world clinical and operational usage.
- Driving technical consensus across IT, security, and clinical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong presentation and written communication skills.
- Comfort working with a variety of stakeholders from technical operators to executive decision makers.
- Experience with healthcare environments and clinical workflows.
- Experience designing and and VDI solutions from major vendors in clinical settings.
- Experience in a customer-facing or sales-aligned technical role.
- Ability to own and guide the entire technical sales cycle including discovery, demos, and PoC's.
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical solutions in to clinical out comes and value.
- Experience influencing technical decisions across multiple stakeholders.
- Understanding of healthcare security, compliance, and availability requirements.
- Understanding of24x7 operations and BC&DR needs for clinical workstations.
- Deep knowledge of Linux and Windows especially as platforms for clinical workstations.
- Working knowledge of SSO, IP, and core networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
- Familiarity with Imprivata, Epic, Cerner, and other clinical applications.
- Experience with IGEL OS, UMS, and/or endpoint/thin client operating systems.
- Experience working with technology resellers and/or alliance partners.

- Partner with Enterprise Account Executives to shape, qualify, and advance large opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership and internal teams to ensure solution viability.
- Engage partners and peers as required to support complex architectures.
- Learn from peers and share what you have learned with the team.
- Maintain oversight across high-impact opportunities.
- Represent IGEL for enterprise healthcare customer engagements and events.
- Communicate with technical clarity and practical credibility.
