About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join a high-performing analytics team working on complex, real-world problems across multiple industries. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy advanced analytics and AI solutions that drive meaningful business impact.

You’ll work on a variety of projects, ranging from optimizing operations to building machine learning and AI-driven applications, while continuing to grow your technical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business problems into data-driven solutions
  • Perform exploratory data analysis and identify key insights
  • Build, test, and deploy machine learning and AI models
  • Develop and evaluate models using statistical techniques and experimentation (including A/B testing)
  • Work with modern AI approaches such as large language models (LLMs) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) when applicable
  • Deploy solutions via APIs or data pipelines and monitor performance over time
  • Collaborate with engineers and product teams to integrate solutions into applications
  • Ensure models are accurate, explainable, and scalable
  • Optimize performance, cost, and efficiency of models and pipelines

What You’ll Work With

  • Python and SQL for data science and analytics
  • Distributed computing tools like Spark/PySpark
  • Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Tools like Airflow, Databricks, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Modern AI/ML techniques including deep learning and GenAI (nice to have)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or Master’s/PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience applying machine learning to real-world datasets
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
  • Experience with large-scale data processing (e.g., Spark)
  • Familiarity with cloud environments and modern data tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
