About the Role
We are looking for a Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions for a field service transformation initiative powered by Generative AI. This role will focus on gathering requirements, defining use cases, and supporting the development of intelligent agent-based solutions using Azure OpenAI Service within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. You will work closely with stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to ensure AI solutions align with business objectives and deliver measurable value.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Engage with business stakeholders (field technicians, operations teams, service managers) to understand current processes and challenges.
- Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements for GenAI-driven solutions.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
Process & Solution Design
- Map current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") field service workflows.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI agents (e.g., copilots, automated diagnostics, knowledge assistants).
- Collaborate with solution architects to define AI-enabled business processes.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams.
- Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and requirement reviews.
- Ensure alignment on scope, priorities, and expected outcomes.
Delivery Support
- Work with Agile teams to refine backlog, prioritize features, and support sprint planning.
- Validate deliverables through UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure requirements are met.
- Track project progress and support change management efforts.
Data & Insights
- Analyze service data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Define KPIs and success metrics for AI-driven transformation.
- Support reporting and dashboards for stakeholders.

- AI copilots assisting technicians in real-time
- Automated ticket classification and resolution suggestions
- Knowledge retrieval from manuals and service history
- Workflow automation for work orders and service requests
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 4?8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or digital transformation projects.
- Experience working on cloud-based solutions, preferably within Microsoft Azure.
- Exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI projects (preferred).
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with field service or enterprise platforms (CRM, FSM, ERP) is a plus.
