Jacob White Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team. This role will support Project Managers and field teams in the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting commercial construction projects and working with subcontractors, vendors, field teams, and project stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with the day-to-day management of construction projects
- Track and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement logs, and closeout documentation
- Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and owners to support project execution
- Assist with project scheduling, meeting minutes, and project reporting
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Support buyout, procurement, and subcontractor coordination efforts
- Track project costs, budgets, commitments, and invoice processing
- Assist with owner pay applications and subcontractor billings
- Maintain project documentation and ensure files are accurate and up to date
- Participate in project meetings and help communicate action items to the project team
- Support project closeout, punch list completion, and warranty efforts
- Assist with maintaining quality control and safety compliance throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in commercial construction, project engineering, or assistant project management
- Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project documentation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and construction management software
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
