As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading complex projects from inception through completion and occupancy, delivering exceptional results for our clients. What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
Project Management & Execution
Oversee all aspects of project implementation and execution, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and construction through completion and occupancy. Manage complex projects from conception to delivery, potentially including ground-up construction with pre-construction duties such as programming, design, entitlements, bidding, permitting, consultant selection, design team selection, schedule creation, contractor selection, vendor selection, and ground-breaking. Provide appropriate on-site supervision to ensure project performance criteria are being met.
Financial Management
Establish and manage comprehensive project budgets covering both hard and soft costs. Maintain monthly forecasts and cash flow analysis, prepare anticipated cost reports, and provide construction cost/benefit analysis as required by clients. Ensure accounts receivable are maintained at levels not to exceed planned working capital charges as set by corporate finance, the project team, and/or the Regional Operations Manager.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Client Relations
Collaborate extensively with architects, client staff, property managers, vendors, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure project success. Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their goals and objectives while managing conflict resolution. Serve as lead relationship manager for strategic alliance clients or as a key resource to multiple client teams, assisting in developing real estate strategy linked to client business objectives.
Team Leadership & Development
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, empowering them to thrive and excel. Support and assist training and develop JLL project team members in firm procedures, methodology, and practices expected for successful project implementation.
Vendor & Contract Management
Manage vendor and project team performance to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, all regulating entities, and client expectations. Oversee capital improvement and asset preservation programs with design and construction processes at multiple sites through local resources.
Quality & Risk Management
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk (fee, reputation, errors and omissions, etc.) to Manager. Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all PDS technology as required for assigned projects. Convey acceptable practices and policies to team while making independent judgments related to operating procedures impacting assigned projects.

Demonstrate highly visible commitment to creating a "one-firm firm" by utilizing cross-discipline teams to meet client needs. Contribute to the development of new product and service delivery ideas for the business unit and the firm. Ensure Manager and/or Regional Manager is fully informed of all projects, internal and client issues affecting the perception of the local, national, and global reputation of the firm.
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, etc.)
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in the commercial real estate industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Experience leading projects in multiple sectors, including office, retail, industrial, and healthcare
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification
  • Demonstrated experience in change management and driving innovation
  • Knowledge of construction processes and building codes
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
