Government Project Manager

Reports to:

Director of Marketing & Sales

General Objective:
Provide outstanding sales and service support, acting as a liaison between Savoy, our government (GSA) customers. This position requires you to work independently and as part of a team with customers, vendors, installers and field sales representatives, to maintain a high level of services and satisfaction in a fast-paced, detail and deadline-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Understanding our products in detail
• GSA contract understanding and management
• Preparing quotes and evaluating complex bid packages
• Working with ancillary vendors to secure pricing and specification for bids
• Provide specifications and product information for clients and bid packages
• Project management for each government delivery
• Contract management of state, local, college, buying groups, adhering to strict deadlines
• Strong communication skills with ability to adjust to client needs
• Monitor government websites for future business opportunities
• Installation coordination, logistics management and project management
• Intelligence gathering of competitors and past and upcoming projects
• College market back-up as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Technical Skills:

• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be extremely detail and deadline oriented
• Government contract experience
• Project management background with willingness to learn
• Excellent people skills and professional image
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Experience and Eduction

• 5 years of government contract/project management experience preferred
• 2 year business degree recommended
• Ability to work with various personality types

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
