The HR Assistant supports the Human Resources department by assisting with administrative tasks, recruiting efforts, and onboarding activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient HR operations and a positive employee experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support:
- Assist in posting job openings on job boards and company platforms
- Screen resumes to identify qualified candidates and coordinate interview scheduling
- Serve as the primary point of contact between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring clear and timely communication throughout the hiring process
- Track candidate progress in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Onboarding & Employee Support:
- Prepare offer letters, employment documents, and onboarding materials
- Conduct new hire orientations and ensure completion of required paperwork
- Conduct Stay and Exit Interviews
Reporting & Administration:
- May Prepare and maintain HR reports, including employee data, turnover, attendance, and recruitment metrics
- Update and manage HR databases and personnel records
- Assist in auditing HR files for accuracy and compliance
General HR Support:
- Support HR projects and initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
Education & Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel experience preferred
- Strong attention to quality, and detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
