At Lifehouse we focus on helping each person we support have the opportunity to lead a full life in their community. Our Managers and Assistant Managers help to build the systems and processes needed to guide our Direct Support Professionals as they assist with day to day tasks, joining clubs, going out to eat, hiking, enjoying movies, going on vacations and more. We are currently searching for a Manager in our Supported Living Services (SLS) Department. This is a challenging and extremely rewarding opportunity for a Manager well-versed in I/DD and in leading strong, client first teams.
What you will do:
- Oversee the design and implementation of SLS
- Coordinate the implementation of the Individual Program Plan (IPP) of individuals served with an emphasis on dignity and independence, skill acquisition, the cultivation of meaningful relationships, and maximizing quality of life
- Maintain communication and collaborate with the individuals served, Lifehouse staff, supervisors, Autism Specialists, Regional Center, family members, and all relevant members of the interdisciplinary team to provide optimal services for individuals served
- Hire, train and motivate qualified staff
- Maintain cell phone coverage and handle emergencies
- Schedules of supports and collaborate with QA / Intake Specialist on referrals, assessments, intakes, and maintenance of all appropriate documentation
- Assist with annual budgets and budget oversight
- Attend outside service meetings and site visits as well as Lifehouse meetings and trainings as appropriate
- Provide advocacy for individuals served as well as support individuals served in developing self-advocacy skills
- Oversee effective supports to promote health and safety for individuals served and related follow-through on health-related matters.
- Provide and develop training, supervision, guidance, and feedback to Assistant Managers and Supported Living Staff

What you will bring
- Experienced – at least 5+ years of experience with people with I/DD preferred, ideally in a residential setting.
- 3+ years of experience managing others preferred, including strong management skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse organization while maintaining a positive work environment and leading change through teamwork.
- Uses creative problem solving and decision-making skills to guide appropriate solutions.
- Good general office skills – familiar with technology (computers/smartphones) and aptitude to learn new programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Able to lift more than 50 pounds.
Pay: Up To $85,000.00 per year

License/Certification:
- Driver's License plus 2 years driving experience (Required)
- Vehicle with valid registration and valid insurance (Required)
