Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple concurrent IT projects across county departments
- Manage project scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop and maintain project charters, governance artifacts, schedules, and status reporting
- Track requirements and support business process definition activities
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including infrastructure, security, integrations, GIS, and application teams
- Monitor vendor deliverables and support contract coordination when required
- Provide executive and stakeholder-level reporting across project milestones
- Apply PMBOK standards and county PMO methodologies
- Support testing coordination, defect tracking, and change management processes
- Prepare cost-benefit analysis and support business case development
- Track schedule performance metrics including SPI reporting
- Ensure solutions align with stakeholder expectations and organizational priorities
Required Qualifications
- Active PMP certification (PMI) required
- 10+ years of experience managing enterprise-level IT projects
- Experience managing scope, schedule, budget, governance documentation, and stakeholder alignment
- Strong experience working within structured PMO environments
- Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams and vendors
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Experience working in state or local government environments
- Exposure to business analysis processes and requirements tracking
- Familiarity with CJIS-controlled environments or security-regulated projects
- Experience supporting infrastructure, cloud, GIS, or enterprise integration initiatives
Additional Requirements
- Hybrid work schedule with onsite presence up to three days per week
- Candidate must be eligible to pass CJIS background verification and FBI criminal background check
- Pre-employment drug screening required
