Position Overview
Under the leadership of the Director, Sales, the Regional Sales Manager position oversees the strategic execution of sales activities in the Northeastern region for our PCB Assembly Solutions Division. This pivotal role is responsible for balancing high-level account management with the acquisition of new business, ensuring that Mycronic's products, accessories, and services are expertly represented. The position serves as a vital link between client needs and company objectives, requiring a dynamic and collaborative approach to territory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifies and nurtures sales opportunities
- Drives and delivers sales activities to meet budget expectations, $15M+
- Aligns, implements, and drives the sales plan for the assigned region, in accordance with the outlined corporate objectives and goals
- Actively demonstrates organizational skills, account strategies, territory planning, and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained
- Develops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned targets
- Prepares and presents bids to potential clients
- Works closely with Sales Reps and Regional Sales Managers to ensure mutual success
- Maintains relationships and facilitates problem solving of any issues with existing customers
- Develops and maintains a constant dialogue with parent company to keep abreast of current and upcoming projects
- Provides updates, forecasts and projections to management team on a regular basis
- Assists with the planning of sales exhibits; attends trade shows; participates in education and training conferences on selling and marketing programs as needed
- Keeps informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to customers and proactively communicates relevant information
- Maintains current working knowledge of competitive activity in market
- Develops and implements new methods of attaining new accounts
- Works collaboratively with others (internally and externally) to achieve common goals and results
- Other duties as assigned including but not limited to the performance of functions related to the sales processes of the company
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least five years of experience selling capital equipment, specifically within the Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) industry
- Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills
- Experience with technology sales
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong technical presentation skills using a variety of mediums when working with guests, senior associates, vendors and customers
- Excellent formal presentation skills before both small and large groups
- Experience managing large territories and diverse product offerings
- A demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of new technology trends, association needs and possible application to real-world projects
- Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
Compensation
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Base salary expected to be $130,000.00 - $155,000.00.
Location
This position covers the Northeast Region. Applicants located in New England preferred.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
Standard office environment. Significant computer work should be expected.
Travel expectations are 40% of the time throughout the specified territory to meet with prospects and existing clients, answer technical questions, resolve issues, and attend sales-related conferences.
