Test Engineer

Job Description
We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our team!

Required Skills
Develop test procedures
Create test procedures for current set of backlog items: system, functional, regression, defining tests for backlog items; estimating tasks needed for creating manual tests; and assessing candidates to automate for regression tests
Develop and execute software test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Integration, Migration, Regression, and/or Performance testing
Support independent User Acceptance Testing
Active participation in Agile Scrum sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations and retrospectives and solution releases
Perform 508 compliance testing
Apply electronic theory and related knowledge, usually under the direction of engineering staff, to design, build, repair, calibrate, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, machinery for subsequent evaluation and use by engineering staff in making engineering design decisions
Ability to work as part of a team of very strong personalities in a very dynamic environment
Highly mission oriented
Willing to “go the extra mile” in customer service and effort in ensuring that time critical requirements are met

Desired Skills
Master’s degree preferred
Demonstrated experience working well with large diverse teams, alone, and with mission partners as required
Strong understanding of Customer environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to effectively manage several projects simultaneously in a rapidly paced environment
Experience in Customer’s Project Management Framework
Ability to Incorporates/Implement changes to schedule
Project Organization/tracking
Experience with test environments run on AWS and Linux
