Assistant Project Manager - Construction
We are hiring an Assistant Project Manager to support multifamily apartment renovations, work orders, and active remodel projects in Los Angeles.
This role is a mix of office support and jobsite support. You will help keep projects moving by following up with vendors and subcontractors, tracking documents and updates, reviewing basic scopes and bids, and helping oversee active work as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Support renovation and work order projects from start to finish
- Follow up with vendors and subcontractors
- Track schedules, quotes, project updates, and job progress
- Review basic scopes, bids, and project documents
- Support the PM, superintendent, and internal team across multiple jobs
- Visit job sites as needed to help keep projects moving
Requirements:
- 2+ years of construction, remodeling, assistant PM, or project support experience
- Strong vendor coordination and follow-up skills
- Good with Excel, Gmail, PDFs, and file organization
- Able to read basic plans, scopes, and bids
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Able to work full-time in person in West Los Angeles
Preferred:
- Multifamily or apartment renovation experience
- Spanish is a plus
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Full-time, in office
- Start between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM
- Occasional after-hours follow-up when needed
