The Role
Our Human Resources Associates will be the heartbeat of our people team. You will keep everything running smoothly by supporting our teams, upholding our standards, and helping create a workplace where people feel valued and supported. You will also bring administrative excellence with a strong commitment to people.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Records Management
- Serves as a first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding Time & Attendance issues
- Document and maintain records of all verbal warnings, written warnings, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and suspensions
- Support employee investigation by acting as a transcript and helping to build ER reports to ensure compliance
- Support performance management processes, including tracking reviews and coordinating meetings with managers
- Uphold strict confidentiality regarding all employee records and sensitive HR matters
- Ensure all disciplinary actions level I, comply with NYC and NYS employment laws, union contracts (Where applicable), and internal HR policies
- Escalate to the People Manager complex Employee Relations cases
- Track patterns of conduct issues across the organization and support the People Manager with trend data
- Support with CCTV Footage Review
Hourly Onboarding (Training)
- Execute Individual Training Pret’s Plan for hourly employees
- Schedule and track completion of all ITP-required training sessions, certifications, and competency assessments
- Maintain documentation of completed training and generate reports for the Head of People
- Identify skills gaps and recommend ITP adjustments in collaboration with L&D team
ADA Accommodation Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming ADA accommodation requests
- Provide employees with initial guidance on the accommodation process, including required forms and documentation.
- Distribute and track completion of ADA forms, ensuring timely follow-up with employees as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the accommodation tracking system
- Escalate complex or ADA accommodation approval for review to People Manager
- Ensure Confidentiality and sensitivity when handling employee information
Culture & Event Coordination
- Support planning and execution of employee engagement and culture initiatives
- Assists in organizing company events, meetings, and celebrations
- Help promote events and encourage employee participation
- Send the “After Event” survey to support continuous improvements and measure employee’s satisfaction
- Support for the creation of Birthdays & Anniversaries Support
Office Supplies & Administrative Support
- Monitor inventory levels of office supplies and place orders as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
- Organize and maintain supply storage areas.
- Assist with outcome and income mail
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 1 - 3 years of experience in Human Resources, administrative support, or a related role
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required
- High attention to detail, especially in documentation and record-keeping
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience handling employee records, HR documentation, or administrative tracking systems; ADP & Harri are preferred
- Exposure to Employee Relations processes (e.g., disciplinary documentation, investigations, or performance management support) is preferred
- Familiarity with ADA accommodation processes or handling sensitive employee requests is a plus
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field are preferred

- The pay range for this role is $67,000 - $70,000. Compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and the specific work location of New York, New York, United States. In addition, you will be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
