THE ROLE
Senior/Principal Product Manager, SEO & AEO
Quince is seeking a strategic, hands-on
Lead Product Manager for SEO & AEO
to drive our next generation of organic growth. This role will sit at the intersection of search innovation, content, and product experience, ensuring Quince’s site structure and storytelling are optimized for both traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven discovery platforms.
You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Marketing, Merchandising, and Creative teams to build scalable, data-informed systems that enhance site performance, elevate product storytelling, and strengthen Quince’s organic authority.
This role is ideal for a product leader who understands both the technical foundations of SEO and the creative power of content—someone who can drive structure, experimentation, and measurable impact in an evolving search landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Quince’s SEO & AEO roadmap, balancing technical excellence with content and authority-building initiatives that enhance brand visibility and organic conversion.
- Partner with Engineering to ensure site architecture, crawlability, and performance meet best-in-class SEO and AEO standards and adapt for AI-powered search environments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, and Merchandising to develop content that improves product discovery, engagement, and storytelling—particularly across PDPs and category pages.
- Lead AI SEO & AEO innovation, evaluating emerging tools and structured content approaches to enhance scalability, automation, and visibility across AI search ecosystems.
- Measure and optimize performance across traditional and AI search channels using data-driven insights and testing frameworks.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in SEO or AEO, product management, or related growth functions, ideally in ecommerce or consumer brands.
- Strong grasp of both technical SEO (site architecture, schema, metadata, performance), content-led SEO (content authority, link strategies, storytelling), and/or emerging AEO principles (structured data, citation quality, and answer-focused content).
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, marketing, and creative.
- Experience managing or influencing CMS systems (e.g., Contentful) and structured content workflows.
- Familiarity with emerging AI search technologies (Google SGE, ChatGPT search integrations, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and communication skills; adept at translating data insights into strategy.
- Nice to have: experience using AI-assisted tools to generate or optimize production content (e.g., text, metadata, creative assets).
All posted ranges are reflective of base salary and may vary depending upon experience level and location. Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles.
Pay Range: $177,000 USD - $270,000 USD
