Staff Program Manager, Connectivity
Summary
The Staff Program Manager, OEM Connectivity, leads complex and high-impact connectivity programs and drives alignment across multiple stakeholders and program areas. This role is responsible for coordinating execution across interconnected programs, managing escalations, and influencing program priorities to ensure successful delivery. The position operates with a high degree of autonomy and contributes to improving program execution practices across the organization.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead complex connectivity programs involving multiple stakeholders, teams, and interdependencies
- Drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Operations, OEMs, MSPs, and suppliers to ensure program success
- Oversee homologation and certification activities across multiple programs or platforms
- Manage complex risks, issues, and escalations, driving resolution across cross-functional teams
- Influence prioritization and sequencing of program activities in alignment with business and product objectives
- Ensure consistency in program execution, including schedules, reporting, and stakeholder communication
- Lead cross-program coordination efforts where dependencies exist
- Mentor junior program managers and provide guidance on execution and stakeholder management
Core Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in program management or related roles within aerospace, inflight connectivity, satellite communications, or similar technical domains
- Experience leading complex programs with multiple stakeholders, suppliers, and technical dependencies
- Strong working knowledge of connectivity systems, aircraft integration, and certification processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage escalations and resolve complex cross-functional challenges
- Experience influencing stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Operations without formal authority
- Ability to coordinate execution across multiple programs or program workstreams
### Benefits
The starting pay range for this position is $129,000 - 146,000 per year however, base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
