About the Role
- Oversee day-to-day electrical division operations across multiple residential and commercial projects in the new housing construction market.
- Drive business development by cultivating new client relationships and maintaining existing ones through consistent outreach and community engagement.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with local and National Electric Code standards.
- Collaborate closely with Project Coordinators, supervisors, and trade partners to build and execute weekly action plans.
- Partner with the VP of Operations, providing regular project progress updates and aligning on company objectives.
What You'll Be Doing
- Review and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project documents to guide accurate management decisions.
- Monitor project performance against established schedules, budgets, and quality standards — intervening early to resolve obstacles.
- Oversee subcontractor compliance with contract agreements and performance schedules.
- Support timely billing, invoice approvals, job cost reviews, and project closings.
- Conduct routine site inspections and enforce OSHA requirements across all work sites.
- Lead employee performance reviews and foster a cooperative, high-performance team culture.
- Utilize company estimating software for change orders and project estimates.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of residential electrical experience, including multi-family construction.
- 2+ years of electrical project management experience with a proven track record.
- Demonstrated leadership ability — you've managed teams and led them to results.
- Strong working knowledge of Federal and local electrical code regulations.
- Ability to read blueprints, communicate professionally, and document project situations accurately.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
