Product Manager, Payments

• About the Opportunity:

The Product Manager, Payments is responsible for shaping and executing the long-term product strategy for a key component of the payments platform. The role involves balancing user needs with infrastructure complexity to deliver reliable and high-impact products. It requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet evolving global payment requirements. This position directly influences the company’s revenue and the success of millions of users by driving product innovations and performance improvements.

• Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the long-term vision and roadmap for your product pillar

• Build deep empathy with merchants and financial partners to inform product decisions

• Understand industry trends and competitor offerings to guide roadmap priorities

• Collaborate with engineering, design, legal, and other teams to create compelling product experiences

• Ensure platform reliability, performance, API extensibility, and low latency

• Use metrics and analytics to measure success and inform decisions

• Requirements:

• 7-12+ years of product management experience in payments, fintech, financial infrastructure, or related fields

• Proven track record of building impactful products and complex systems at scale

• Experience working closely with engineers, designers, and external partners

• Strong communication skills with ability to articulate user problems clearly

• Analytical skills to define and track success metrics and run experiments

• Experience aligning multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities

• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Experience delivering multi-quarter roadmaps and influencing diverse teams

• Strong business acumen and comfort with complex platform-level challenges

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, or Applied Sciences

• Proven success in building payment products

• Experience managing products at scale with focus on availability, latency, and financial margins

• Pay Range and Compensation Package:
