Reporting to the Director, Construction Services, this new role is responsible for overseeing and reporting on capital expenditures for the Real Estate and Construction Services Departments. The Manager, Construction Finance supports the overall Design & Construction program and actively collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure proper compliance with accounting procedures.
What You Will Do

• Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and analysis of financial data including capital tracking and expense, forecasts, general ledger and period end reports working closely with Finance
• Responsible for the overall tracking and coordination of timely invoice processing and payment with AP, Finance
• Responsible for billing and collection of tenant allowances in accordance with lease terms, and for maintaining the tracker for outstanding and collected tenant allowances.
• Ensure payments to contractors and consultants are made and are compliant with requisition due dates established by the schedule or contract documents
• Communicates and partners with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with established accounting protocols
• Review changes in accounting policies and guidelines and ensure implementation of changes as they relate to construction projects. Assist in the formulation of standard operating procedures ensuring proper controls are established for PO’s and change orders.
• Manages vendor relationship, invoice and payment processing, maintenance and distribution of change orders, change directives and requests of information
• Keeps Project Managers and the team informed about any issues that may impact internal and external stakeholders and provides recommendations for process improvement

How You Will Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
• 5 years working experience in related field
• Working knowledge of the operating practices of construction, architectural and project management, Finance, Accounts Payable, scheduling and estimating, project tracking
• Experience in setting up and working in the JDE PO environment
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating the efforts of internal and external vendors
