We are presently seeking a Director of Network Administration to provides strategic and operational leadership for the organization’s network infrastructure. This role is responsible for designing, securing, scaling, and modernizing enterprise network environments to support business objectives, digital transformation, and high availability. The Director partners closely with executive leadership, cybersecurity, cloud, and application teams to ensure resilient, secure, and cost-effective network services.
In this role, you will:
- Define and execute the enterprise network strategy aligned with business goals and long-term technology roadmaps.
- Lead modernization initiatives, including cloud networking, SD-WAN, zero trust networking, and automation.
- Serve as a senior advisor to IT and business leadership on network capabilities, risks, and investments.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and operation of LAN, WAN, WLAN, data center, cloud, and hybrid network environments.
- Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of all network services.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with cybersecurity vendors to implement secure network architectures and controls.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, industry, and internal security standards.
- Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for major network outages or security events.
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing network engineering and operations teams.
- Own the network budget, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Manage strategic vendor relationships, contracts, and service providers.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and vendors to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, application, and business teams to enable new products and services.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to executive and non-technical stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 12+ years of progressive experience in network engineering and operations, including 7+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Deep expertise in enterprise networking technologies (routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, load balancing).
- Strong experience with cloud and hybrid networking architectures.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, mission-critical network environments.
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and enterprise-level contracts.
