Business Analyst- MIH

JOB SUMMARY: Entry-level Business Analyst role supporting a Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) organization. Responsible for analyzing clinical, operational, and financial data to improve patient outcomes, optimize resource utilization, and support hospital-at-home and community paramedicine programs.

• Analyze operational, clinical, and financial data to identify trends and improvement opportunities

• Support hospital-at-home and MIH program performance tracking (admissions, LOS, outcomes, cost savings)

• Develop dashboards and reports for leadership and field operations

• Collaborate with clinical, operations, and billing teams to improve workflows

• Assist in developing KPIs and performance metrics

• Conduct process improvement initiatives and recommend solutions

• Prepare presentations and summaries for leadership

• Ensure data integrity and support data governance efforts

• Create reports and presentations to summarize data results

• Other duties, as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, or related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in Excel; experience with data visualization tools preferred

• Excellent conceptual and analytical thinking skills are required, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with team

• An effective communicator at all levels in the organization, with strong oral, written and presentation skills.

• Affinity for new technologies and market trends like AI, machine learning, and big data is an added advantage

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SQL, Power BI, or Tableau

• Understanding of healthcare operations or EMS/MIH models

• Internship or academic project experience with data analysis
