Salamander Middleburg, a Forbes Five‑Star luxury resort, is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead property technology operations. This is a high‑visibility leadership role responsible for hotel systems, infrastructure, security, and daily technology operations that support exceptional guest service and business performance.
We are seeking a hands‑on IT leader who enjoys solving problems, improving systems, and partnering with operational leaders in a fast‑paced luxury environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership of all IT functions within a Forbes Five-Star luxury resort environment
- Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of all network infrastructure, cybersecurity protocols, backups, and enterprise systems
- Oversee and optimize hotel technology platforms including PMS, POS, telecommunications, guest-facing systems, and business applications
- Partner with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with operational goals and the guest experience strategy
- Manage technology vendors, contracts, system implementations, and capital projects
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, troubleshooting complex issues while mentoring users and promoting technology best practices
- Develop and manage the IT operating budget and CAPEX plan, ensuring fiscal discipline, ROI on technology investments, and accountability for IT-related P&L impact
- Drive continuous improvement through innovation, system enhancements, and technology solutions that improve efficiency, service delivery, and guest satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, data security requirements, and hospitality technology best practices
Ideal Candidate:
- IT Manager or Senior IT experience required
- Hospitality, hotel IT experience required
- Strong infrastructure, systems, and security knowledge
- Strong communication and leadership skills
