Responsibilities
State Farm is seeking a seasoned direct to consumer digital marketing data expert to serve as a Data Analyst for the Digital Channel Performance team. Our Digital Channel Performance team executes digital acquisition marketing strategies across paid, owned, earned, and content channels and looks to drive profitable digital growth while enabling seamless Human + Digital orchestration.
As a Data Analyst in Digital Channel Performance, you will:
- Responsible for supporting the coordination, prioritization, and delivery of digital initiatives, as well as reporting and measurement of results
- Collects inputs, measures outcomes, and reports Key Performance Indicators
- Communicates and partners with business owners necessary for digital operations and business performance
- Sets goals, provides estimates and tracks performance to goals
- Supports Product managers, Project Managers and Initiative Owners in execution of duties by providing insights and developing recommendations through data
- Utilizes analytical and quantitative skills by using data and metrics to test theories confirm assumptions, generate insights/recommendations, and measure success
- Drives and influences business decisions based on metrics and data
- Creates reports and dashboards using Tableau or similar tools
- Identifies and captures data for tracking with Enterprise Technology partners
- Utilizes testing experience A/B testing, configuring testing tools (with Enterprise Technology), reading/interpreting statistical results, and conducting pre- and post-analysis
Qualifications
- Moderate proficiency in SQL with basic knowledge in another programming language such as Python or R.
- Experience in a web-based monitoring platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- Proficiency managing complex data sources, including ETL across multiple sources and intense data verification
- Enthusiastically driven by Data and Analytics.
- Proven ability to thrive within a fast paced, changing environment.
- Direct to Consumer digital marketing experience preferred.
- Bachelors in a quantitative field (marketing, business analytics, economics, computer science, finance, etc.) preferred

- Potential starting salary range: $97,000 - $142,000
- Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
- High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
- Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
