About The Role
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Tester to join our remote Engineering Department on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products before they reach our customers. The QA Tester will be responsible for designing comprehensive test plans, executing both manual and automated tests, and identifying bugs or issues that could impact user experience. Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, you will verify bug fixes, conduct various testing types, and provide valuable feedback to enhance product usability and reliability. Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla
• Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail or Zephyr
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases for data validation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Perform manual testing to identify bugs and verify functionality
• Implement automated testing where applicable to improve efficiency
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and acceptance criteria
• Conduct regression, functional, usability, and performance testing to ensure software quality
• Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved before product release
• Participate in sprint planning and agile development processes
• Provide feedback on product usability and overall quality improvements
• Maintain comprehensive testing documentation and reporting for transparency and tracking
