About The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with a specific segment of the business, leading end-to-end design initiatives that enhance the user experience across Stripe’s products. Your primary focus will be on creating intuitive, elegant, and high-quality user interfaces that simplify complex workflows and meet the needs of diverse user segments. Collaborating with cross-functional teams—including product managers, engineers, data scientists, and marketers—you will help shape product strategy and deliver designs that drive user engagement and satisfaction. Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant product design experience
• A portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals and polished UI craft
• Experience partnering closely with cross-functional teams to shape product direction
• Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and stakeholder inputs
• Excellent communication skills for articulating design decisions and rationale
• Experience working across multiple product areas on complex and ambiguous problems
• Strong influencing skills to guide team and product direction
• Confidence in presenting work to leadership and storytelling skills to communicate design rationale effectively

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, user-centered designs that improve core surfaces and elevate the overall user experience
• Design, prototype, and test intuitive experiences that simplify complex workflows
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to define both long-term strategies and short-term tactics
• Create high-quality UI designs that set a standard for design excellence at Stripe
• Participate actively in design reviews, sharing work regularly and contributing to a culture of feedback and iteration
• Work closely with UX Research to inform and validate design decisions
• Maintain a strong understanding of user needs and incorporate insights into design solutions
