Since its inception, Recidiviz has grown from a volunteer-driven initiative to an influential organization backed by leading philanthropists and foundations, including the Ford Foundation, Schmidt Futures, and the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. We partner with over 18 state agencies, covering more than 40% of the incarcerated population in the United States, and have successfully helped tens of thousands of individuals to exit the system safely and equitably, while saving states nearly $1 billion. Our team comprises talented software engineers, data scientists, designers, and domain experts from renowned companies and organizations, committed to leveraging technology for social impact. We operate in a collaborative, inclusive environment that values kindness, humility, curiosity, and a shared passion for justice reform.
